Key Responsibilities

• Assist the Outlet Manager with the daily opening and closing of the outlet
• Build and maintain excellent relationship with guests
• Possess extensive menu knowledge, with the ability to sell and make recommendations to guests
• Take orders and special requests from guests, serve meals and beverages to tables in a timely manner
• Ensure that sanitation of the floor and safety standards are observed and comply with regulations
• Collaborate with the team to develop and execute plans that achieve targets

The Cook at Chin Mee Chin is the dedicated and reliable champion of the daily operations in the kitchen, which includes, preparing and cooking of food to the highest quality.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage, set up and stock stations with all necessary supplies
• Prepare mise-en-place
• Assist with receiving stocks, checking and ensuring quality of ingredients used in cooking
• Monitor and order inventory when required
• Keeping a safe and sanitised environment within the kitchen
• Fuel your passion by cooking/baking/crafting best versions of our menu items

Who we are looking for

• Good understanding of the preparation and storage of ingredients
• Excellent attitude towards learning; the team welcomes aspiring chefs with little to no relevant experience
• A team player who enjoys contributing to the greater success of team and the concept
• Individuals who take ownership and responsibility
• Individuals who push boundaries to further their skills and abilities
• A valid Food Hygiene Certificate (minimally Level 1)
